This Privacy Policy explains how Fit Alarmy ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use our mobile application. By using Fit Alarmy, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We do not use your data for automated profiling or algorithmic decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:
You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
Your account data is stored on Supabase servers (supabase.com), which use industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/HTTPS). We implement Row Level Security (RLS) on all database tables, meaning your data is isolated from other users at the database level.
We also store certain data locally on your device using AsyncStorage: premium subscription status, alarm configurations, and session state. This local data never leaves your device unless explicitly synced to the cloud.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States, where Supabase and Google operate servers. For transfers from the EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
The AI exercise detection and Photo Proof features require camera access. Camera data is processed entirely on your device in real time. No video, images, or derived data is ever stored, recorded, uploaded, or transmitted to our servers or any third party. Camera access is used solely during an active alarm session.
Free-tier users see banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. Premium subscribers do not see ads. Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS), IP address, and app usage data. To limit ad tracking: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off Personalized Ads.
The global leaderboard is public and displays your chosen display name and total calorie count. Your email address, account ID, and other personal information are never shown. If you wish to be removed, change your display name or delete your account.
We use Apple Push Notification Service to deliver alarm notifications. We do not use notifications for marketing purposes. You can disable notifications at any time in Settings → Notifications → Fit Alarmy.

EEA/UK users (GDPR/UK GDPR): Restriction of processing, Right to object, Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Backups may retain data for up to an additional 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely and cannot be linked back to you.
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users without undue delay and, where required by law, notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours.
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not receive or store your payment card details or billing address.
Fit Alarmy is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under these age thresholds. If you believe your child has provided us with personal data, contact us at kajopn8n@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
The AI exercise detection feature processes video frames to estimate body keypoint positions. This data is processed entirely on your device in real time and is never stored, transmitted, or retained. We do not build or maintain any biometric profile of you.
The app uses embedded WebViews for AI exercise detection. These WebViews may use browser-based storage solely to cache TensorFlow.js model weights for improved loading performance. No personal data is stored in WebView storage.
If you are located in the EEA or UK and believe we have not handled your personal data lawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. A list of EEA authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu. The UK authority is the ICO at ico.org.uk.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for monetary consideration.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice and/or email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
